1. Use RDCalc responsibly

By using RDCalc, users agree to use it responsibly, follow the no-PHI expectation, and review outputs before relying on them in any professional workflow.

2. Keep PHI out of RDCalc

Do not enter PHI or patient identifiers. RDCalc does not require them and is not offered as a patient-record or HIPAA-regulated data-processing system.

3. Calculation and documentation aid

RDCalc is intended for qualified healthcare professionals and reviewers. Users are responsible for reviewing calculations, documentation, and local requirements before use.

• RDCalc is a calculation and documentation aid only.
• RDCalc does not replace clinical judgment, local policy, or professional review.
• Some calculators or features require an active RDCalc Pro subscription.

4. Use the service respectfully

RDCalc is intended for legitimate professional calculator use, not scraping, disruption, repackaging, or unauthorized access attempts.

• Do not misuse, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, repackage, or attempt unauthorized access to RDCalc.
• Do not submit PHI or patient identifiers.
• Do not use RDCalc in a way that violates law, institutional policy, or professional obligations.

5. Keep account access appropriate

If account features are used, users remain responsible for account accuracy and access practices.

• Users are responsible for keeping account information accurate.
• Users should keep login credentials protected.
• Users should not share account access except as allowed by RDCalc’s account or subscription terms.

6. Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Review the price, renewal interval, trial, and cancellation terms presented before checkout.

• Payment processing is handled by the payment provider.
• Eligible new subscribers receive one 14-day Pro trial without a payment method. The trial starts when trial checkout is completed, not when an account is created. Without a payment method at the end of the trial, Pro ends automatically and free calculators remain available.
• If a payment method is added during the trial, billing begins when the trial ends unless canceled beforehand. Returning subscribers pay at checkout. Paid subscriptions renew monthly or annually at the price shown before confirmation unless canceled.
• Users can cancel future renewal through the Stripe billing portal; access may continue through the paid period shown in the account.
• Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by RDCalc.
• Pricing or plan features may change prospectively; checkout will show the terms for a new purchase.

7. RDCalc project materials

The RDCalc project owns the product interface and workflows unless otherwise noted. Feedback helps improve the active product.

• RDCalc content, interface, calculator workflows, and project materials are owned by the RDCalc project unless otherwise noted.
• Users may not copy, reverse engineer, or repackage RDCalc as a competing product.
• Feedback may be used to improve RDCalc, including calculator workflows, wording, UI, documentation, and release-quality decisions.

8. Separately licensed reference materials

Third-party reference data and other separately licensed materials retain their own license terms. Those licenses take precedence over any conflicting restrictions in these Terms, including restrictions on copying, modification, redistribution, reverse engineering, or commercial reuse. No RDCalc account or subscription is required to exercise those license rights.

9. Features and availability may change

RDCalc may improve, pause, lock, or remove features. The service and its outputs may contain errors, omissions, or interruptions. Users are responsible for verifying inputs and outputs before relying on them.

10. Provided as a professional calculation aid

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RDCalc is provided as-is and without a guarantee that every output or service feature will be error-free or continuously available. Clinical and documentation decisions remain the user’s responsibility.

11. These terms may be revised

RDCalc may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
